  1. Hi there. I'm a huge fan of all the old Ramsa stuff, and I'm excited to find this site. I use an 8616, and I have an 8118 as a back up. If I can help contribute to your cause, let me know! idiotstorm@gmail.com

    1. Hi there! For now, we have only the 8118 service manual on our page ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0OygRJuBFFvcXVGX0ZOdjdKU1E/view ), but we're working on finding the user manuals also for all the models.

  6. I have 2 Ramsa WR-T812 consoles (Mated pair). This gives you 24 ch & 16 busses. The sound of these boards remind me of hearing music on my dads giant stereo. ( I am 44, so late 70s, early 80S). Just a warmth that you never hear in this digitally remastered, pro tooled world. They are large and heavy. Both have optional meter bridges. I cant afford a 2" 24 track tape machine, and have been stuck converting to digital. I would love to pass them on. Not set on a price, so give me a call/text and we can talk about it. I live in TN. 7. Hello guys! I'm trying to find my first real console for my home studio and just I found a WR-S4424 because I'm live in Spain and there's not so much Ramsa boards on sale. I think I like the 820b a bit more but just because is a little bit older, what do you think about the difference between them in terms on pre & eq? I'm not worried about buses and amount of channels. Another question is the better way to convert to digital because I want to keep working with logic. Many thanks in advance and best regards.

  8. Hi! The 4424 is an excellent choice. However 820b has it's charm aswell, just keep in mind the connectors in the back are rca and not jack trs for the most part (except XLR mic ins). So you're looking at a few more unbalanced connections. If you work in Logic you could use your console in a hybrid setup and run all your channels or logic stems through the mixer to give you some analog summing mojo. Then you just return the console master out to a master track in Logic through your converters and record it back in. Or you could route stems/groups out from your group channels of the console back to Logic. Hope this helps a bit. Best regards! Mat

  10. Hey, this site is so cool! I have been familiar with the Ramsa name for so long but only got glimpses about random gear. I then see these mixing boards pop up with that name placed on them. I was hooked just because they look so cool. Now a happy owner of a WR-T820 I am so intrigued with the background of these consoles and especially the integrity of the sound. Even the drummer I play with, (who usually doesn't care about recording gear) was intrigued with this console. Can anybody give light to the comparisons that the preamps have been illustrated here and there online? I read sometimes that they're compared to Neves.
